Jennifer Seifert is a newcomer to the craft of pottery, and has quickly immersed herself in throwing, shaping, carving, and building with clay.  She is inspired by the natural, and aims for simplicity and functionality in her pottery. She started making pottery in the summer of 2016.

"I have been a student, a teacher and a musician.  My biggest hope in this new creative path is to maintain an honesty about my work. Someone once described my work as 'truthful''. I am very honored by this observation, but also extremely challenged by it. To give myself the freedom to grow and explore and try new things while maintaining a quality true to who I am is my biggest hope.  I find great joy and fulfillment in bringing my ideas to life, while allowing space for the medium of clay to find its own voice."

Jennifer lives in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville, North Carolina, with her husband and their three children.
